Description
The all-cold-shrink intermediate joint is a type of cable intermediate joint used at the connection position of two cables to restore the cable structure and its functions. Its main body is made of high-quality liquid silicone rubber that is injection-molded and vulcanized in the factory, then expanded and lined with a plastic spiral support. Depending on the voltage level, it is available in 1kV, 8.7/15kV, 12/20kV, 18/30kV, 26/35kV and other voltage ratings. All-cold-shrink technology: no open flame or special tools are required, nor the trouble of gradually slipping it into place; simply pull out the inner core cord, and it will shrink elastically by itself, tightly fitting onto the cable to complete installation. Reliable insulation: imported liquid silicone rubber ensures excellent insulation performance and high recovery elasticity; after installation, it constantly provides a steady and lasting radial pressure on the cable body, with low partial discharge, "breathing" together with the cable body. Good sealing: using sealant and high-performance waterproof tape in a combined sealing scheme, it achieves a three-layer waterproof structure consisting of the joint body, inner sheath, and outer sheath, providing long-term sealing and waterproofing. Easy installation: simple installation with low technical dependence; during cable pretreatment, the stripping distance is short and the required installation space is small. Earthing uses a constant-force spring process, requiring no welding or copper binding wire, making it faster and more reliable.
