• The main material of this product is high-strength SMC glass fiber composite material, which is molded in one shot in a mold under high temperature and high pressure. The material is dense with no weak points, and its strength is higher than that of ordinary FRP shells. The main body of the intermediate joint is wrapped with self-adhesive fire-resistant anti-arc tape; the gaps between the inner ends of the explosion-proof box and the cable are stuffed with intumescent flame-retardant flexible fireproof putty; then intumescent explosion-proof fire-retardant packs are placed inside the box; with the protection of the external high-strength flame-retardant explosion-proof box, the overall structure adopts a three-layer fire and explosion prevention method, thus achieving overall fire and explosion protection. The product has passed the explosion-proof certificate verification and testing by the National Inspection Center for Quality Supervision of Explosion-Protected Electrical Products, and meets the requirements of GB 3836.1-2010 "Explosive atmospheres – Part 1: Equipment – General requirements" and GB 3836.3-2010 "Explosive atmospheres – Part 3: Equipment protected by increased safety 'e'". This product is mainly used for power cable intermediate joints. In the event of a fault, it confines the high-pressure airflow, flames, and debris generated by the explosion inside the explosion-proof box, and also prevents the fire spread caused by the fault and the explosion impact from causing large-scale damage to other power facilities. The fire and explosion-proof box is installed outside the intermediate joint. During normal operation, it protects the intermediate joint from external mechanical damage, providing a certain mechanical protection effect, while also preventing damage to the intermediate joint caused by fire spreading from surrounding power facilities. When the intermediate joint catches fire or explodes due to accidental faults, it can play a role in fire prevention and explosion suppression, and can also provide certain protective isolation for other cables in the cable trench or surrounding equipment. The intermediate joint fire and explosion-proof box is made of two halves that close around the joint, making on-site installation convenient. Sealing rubber strips are provided at the flange joints on both sides, and waterproof tape is wound around both ends, giving it a certain waterproof performance. Product features: 1. The high-strength explosion-proof box shell confines the high-pressure airflow, flames, and debris generated by the explosion inside the box, prevents fire spread and explosion impact from causing large-scale damage to other power facilities, prevents damage to the intermediate joint caused by fire spreading from surrounding power facilities, and ensures pedestrian safety.
