1. Establishment and development of the R&D center

The Volcanic Nuclear Materials Research and Development Center was established in 2000, and a technical team with outstanding innovation capabilities was formed in its initial stage. In 2008, the center was recognized as a "Shenzhen Municipal Research and Development Center," marking the company's research and development management, financial accounting, and project incentive assessment mechanisms had become more mature. In 2019, the research and development center was officially upgraded to the Volcanic Nuclear Materials Research Institute, and in the same year, it was jointly rated as a "National Enterprise Research and Development Center" by five national ministries and commissions, achieving a leapfrog development from municipal to national level.
