Fiber heat shrinkable tube, commonly known as fiber optic connector, and scientifically known as fiber optic splicing heat shrinkable protective tube or fiber optic fusion splicing protective heat shrinkable tube, is a fiber optic splicing protective component. It is specifically designed for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) projects and utilizes heat fusion splicing to fully fuse the optical fiber cables or between the optical fiber cables and single-core patch cords within the sleeve. It is widely used for fusion splicing in communication products such as optical cable splice enclosures, optical cable termination enclosures, ODF (Optical Distribution Frame) boxes, broadband network boxes, optical cable junction boxes, and optical cable distribution boxes.
