- The 110kV cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable shielding isolation joint uses a tape-wrapping process to restore the cable's outer shielding layer and wind a stress cone structure to disperse the electric field. Each type of tape possesses professional electrical properties, and its self-adhesive and self-fusing nature enables rapid fusion between tape and cable as well as between tape and tape, thereby greatly reducing the possibility of gaps during construction. The 110kV XLPE cable shielding isolation joint repairs the cable's outer shielding layer without cutting the cable conductor, significantly reducing the problem of excessive resistance at cable intermediate joints. The cable's own insulation layer remains undamaged, and its insulation performance is well preserved.
