Description
35kV separable connectors include: 1. 35kV C-type separable connectors conforming to C-type bushings (commonly known as the European series): 35kV C-type shielded front plug, model WCB 35/630; 35kV C-type shielded rear plug, model WCBK 35/630. 2. 35kV E-type separable connectors conforming to E-type bushings (commonly known as the American series): 35kV E-type shielded front plug, model WEB 35/630; 35kV E-type shielded rear plug, model WEBK 35/630. 3. 35kV C-type separable connectors are generally used in 35kV ring-main switchgear, providing fully insulated electrical connections between the incoming/outgoing bushings of the switchgear and the cables. 4. 35kV E-type separable connectors are generally used in 35kV cable distribution boxes, providing fully insulated electrical connections between the bushings of the cable distribution box and the cables. When the front plug is in operation, it is bolted to the switchgear bushing socket; its tail can be directly plugged with an insulating plug, or can be extended to connect a rear plug-in cable plug or a rear plug-in surge arrester. The rear plug connects with a front plug of the same series or another rear plug of the same series, providing an extended cable connection loop (branch); it cannot be directly connected to the bushing. Its tail can be directly sealed with an insulating plug, or can be extended to connect another branch of rear plug-in cable termination of the same series or a rear plug-in surge arrester.
